Class 2 & Class 4 Driver – Waikato & Rotorua (2/10NV)

Our client is a leading food importer and wholesaler with branches nationwide. With more than 50 years in business, they have built a strong nationwide customer base, supplying well-known food and hospitality businesses including Burger Fuel, Wendy’s Burgers, St Pierre’s Sushi and many more.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Class 2 and Class 4 Drivers to join the team, delivering food products to retail and hospitality customers throughout the Waikato and Rotorua regions.

 You will be driving hard-sided Class 2 and Class 4 trucks, completing regular customer deliveries and providing professional service at each stop.

Please note: this role involves predominantly hand and trolley deliveries rather than full-pallet drops, so a reasonable level of physical fitness is required.

What we offer

• Monday to Friday
• 5:00am start, with finishes around 4:00pm most days
• Rostered Saturday mornings
• $28.00 per hour + holiday pay
• Weekly pay – every Wednesday

About You

• We are looking for an experienced commercial driver who has:
• A current Class 2 or Class 4 NZ driver's licence
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience
• Previous NZ driving experience
• Experience in food, beverage, freight or general transport is preferred
• A good command of English
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• Good physical fitness and the ability to complete hand and trolley deliveries
• A strong commitment to safe driving and workplace practices
• A current counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential.

IMPORTANT 

This role is suited to drivers with experience in a transport, freight, food distribution or delivery environment.

• Civil driving experience alone is not suitable, as the work environment and daily duties are significantly different.
