Experienced Driver - Class 5 *** PALMERSTON NORTH** (14/10RS)

Superior Personnel is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and reliable Class 5 Driver to undertake a Taupo swap route delivering food. This position features a 5:00 PM start time and requires the operation of a fork hoist on-site.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Safe Operation: Drive and manoeuvre Class 5 heavy vehicles efficiently in urban and highway conditions for the Taupo swap.
• Fork Hoist Operation: Safely operate a fork hoist on-site.
• Load Security: Take primary responsibility for ensuring your load is properly secured.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with yard personnel and crane teams to coordinate loading and unloading activities.
• Compliance & Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-start vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logbooks for fatigue management, and report any maintenance needs promptly. (Note: Eroad and cameras will be operating).
• Safety Leadership: Adhere strictly to rigorous site-specific health and safety protocols and actively participate in toolbox meetings.

**Requirements**

• Licensing: Must hold a current, clean NZ Class 5 License alongside a valid OSH forklift certification and/ or

F endorsement.

• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of driving experience within New Zealand.
• Reliability: A proactive attitude with a firm commitment to punctuality and representing the operation professionally on-site.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands required to secure heavy loads.
