Logistics Co-ordinator - Hamilton

Our client is an established NZ FMCG market leader.  With a nationwide customer base supplying food retailers & hospitality clients, this is an ideal company to increase your Co-ordinator's experience.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join their warehouse team. This is a permanent position for the right applicant.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5pm) 
  • Occasional Saturdays are required
  • Chiller/Cool Store work
  • General office and administration tasks
  • Customer interaction i.e. collect orders, counter queries
  • Assist with credits, picking orders and reporting when required
  • Dealing with POD, manifests and freight invoices
  • Inventory levels, stock locations etc.
  • Assist with process improvements
  • Problem solving 
  • Health and Safety focused

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous Logistics Co-Ordinator experience 
  • Worked in Chillers/Cool stores before would be advantageous for this role
  • Quick learner on processes and computer systems
  • Must be flexible with shift finish times when required.
  • Current forklift licence is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solver 
  • Proactive nature 
  • Reliable transport for work
  • Team player 
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
