Class 5 Truck Drivers - Food Distribution (Palmerston North)

Superior Personnel is seeking skilled and reliable Class 5 Drivers for our Palmerston North-based client. We have two distinct shift options available handling food distribution. Both positions require on-site forklift operation.

Available Shifts

• Role 1: Taupo Swap Route | 5:00 PM start time (5–6 nights per week).
• Role 2: Wellington Route | 3:00 AM – 5:00 AM start time.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Efficiently operate Class 5 heavy vehicles across urban and highway routes.
• Forklift Work: Safely operate a fork hoist on-site for loading and unloading.
• Load Security: Take ownership of securing your load safely and correctly.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with yard personnel and crane teams.
• Compliance: Complete daily pre-start vehicle checks and logbooks (ERoad and cameras active).
• H&S Culture: Adhere strictly to site safety protocols and participate in toolbox meetings.

What You Need

• Licensing: Current, clean NZ Class 5 Licence.
• Forklift: Valid OSH forklift certification and/or F endorsement (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Class 5 driving experience within New Zealand.
• Attitude: Proactive, punctual, reliable, and professional on-site.
• Fitness: Physically fit to handle the demands of securing heavy loads.
