**Class 4 / 5 Heavy Transport HIAB Driver – Structural Steel**

Are you an experienced, reliable Class 4 or 5 Driver who prides themselves on precision operating?

Our client is looking for a top-tier operator for a vital role transporting high-value structural steel components to construction sites right across Northland.

What You Will Do:
• Precision Driving: Safely operate Class 4 or 5 HIAB vehicles with heavy loads across urban and highway routes.
• Load Security: Take full responsibility for securing heavy structural steel loads safely and legally.
• Site Coordination: Work closely with yard staff and site crane teams to ensure smooth loading and unloading.
• Compliance & Safety: Run daily pre-start vehicle checks, maintain precise logbooks, and report any maintenance needs immediately.

What You Bring:
• Licensing: A current, clean NZ Class 4 or 5 Driver’s Licence with proven HIAB experience is essential.
• Experience: At least 3+ years of heavy transport driving, ideally within the steel, engineering, or construction sectors.
• Technical Skill: Exceptional reversing skills and total confidence navigating tight, busy construction sites.
• Attributes: Physically fit, punctual, proactive, and professional when representing the business on-site.

Strict Application Criteria – Please Read:
• Location: You must currently reside in New Zealand (preferably already in Northland). Overseas applicants will not be considered.
• Visa Status: You must hold NZ Residency/Citizenship or have at least 2+ years remaining on a valid NZ work visa.
• Experience : Heavy transport and HIAB experience is strictly required. ***Courier or food delivery backgrounds do not meet the requirements for this role.***
