While recruitment and labour hire service firms such as Superior Personnel are a great way for your business to grow or handle peaks in demand, determining which firm to use should be more than asking "who gives the cheapest rates?".

Superior Personnel's motto of "Great People Building Great Businesses" relies on our compliance with employment and Health and Safety regulations. We take that responsibility very seriously. As a client or potential client of Superior Personnel, it is vital that you have confidence in our ability to deliver the service we are promising.

Over the next few weeks, we will use our weekly blog and social media posts to cover off questions you should ask any recruitment or labour hire / temporary staff provider.

This week "Are you a member of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association, Australia and New Zealand (RCSA)"?

Yes - Superior Personnel have been Corporate Members of RCSA since August 2004. On top of this, our staff have the opportunity to develop as Individual Members at varying levels of certification, based on experience and completion of ongoing training.

RCSA's Code of Professional Conduct provides the expected standards for providing professional service in both the labour hire / temporary staff and permanent recruitment sectors. It is underpinned by professional practice standards and training, education and business support. RCSA can also impose sanction where members become non-compliant.

The benefit of using an RCSA members for recruitment and labour hire / temporary staff, is that they and their staff are committed to abiding by the Code for Professional Conduct (endorsed by the Commerce Commission) which sets standards for confidentiality, privacy, honesty, respect for work relationships, laws, safety and professional knowledge.
