The Company:
Our client is an established company which manufactures infant formula in New Zealand. They pride themselves on producing quality product for their customers and protecting the environment along the way.

The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Experienced 2IC Manager to join their team. This is a permanent position and based in Pokeno.

• Hours – Monday to Thursday 6am to 6pm (plus overtime when available)
Please note: Shifts will be subject to change due to workload demand

Duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Lead and manage staff effectively. Includes staff performance reviews.
• Manage and monitor production time frames, workflow and daily KPI’s.
• Work with Production Manager and key stakeholders.
• Reports - daily, weekly and quarterly
• Review and contribute to process improvement plans.
• Follow designated operating procedures.
• Monitor quality control and maintenance of all equipment
• Administration tasks
• Manage all manufacturing functions and reduce wastage of product.
• Follow all Food Safety and HACCP systems.
• Health and Safety

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong people management experience will be required
• Industry experience in dairy/milk powder is preferred
• Previous experience in a fast moving manufacturing or processing environment would be ideal (FMCG)
• Excellent communication and people skills will be essential
• Excellent problem solving and fault finding skills
• Mechanical and automation knowledge will be an advantage
• Health and Safety focused
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Pass drug test and have a clear criminal record.
