Andrew Berry | MBA

Managing Director

Andrew started his career in Police, based primarily in South Auckland, including as Officer in Charge of the Otara Police and a deployment to Afghanistan. Between 2010 and 2013, Andrew held roles as Manager Marine Pollution Response Service for Maritime New Zealand and General Manager at Bullet Freight. Andrew has a Masters of Science (Hons) and an Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA). In 2006 Andrew was awarded the Blake Leader Award by the Sir Peter Blake Trust. Andrew became Managing Director of Superior Personnel in 2013.

Mandi Hopwood

Branch Manager | Bay of Plenty

Mandi has been with Superior Personnel since Day 1 in 1997. Mandi has focused on overseeing many of Superior Personnel's temporary labour hire clients and has been successful at maintaining long standing business relationships by providing cost-effective and customer focused solutions. In 2017 Mandi moved to Tauranga to lead our Bay of Plenty Branch.

Emma Godsmark

Branch Manager | Waikato

Emma joined the Superior Personnel team in December 2016, having moved to the Waikato from Auckland. Emma has several years experience within the Manufacturing, Warehouse and Logistics industry as a Recruitment consultant for both temporary and permanent placements. Before moving into recruitment, Emma worked for 8 years as a Production supervisor. Emma thoroughly enjoys recruitment and finds job satisfaction from placing candidates into work and meeting the expectations of the client.

Daphne Edwards

Branch Manager | Canterbury

Daphne joined the team in August 2017 when Superior Personnel acquired Jade Resourcing in Canterbury. Daphne has a wealth of recruitment experience across NZ, from Branch Manager of larger recruitment agencies through to owning her own recruitment businesses. Daphne enjoys working closely with clients to ensure they are getting a service next to none.

Derek Ready | MA

Senior Recruitment Consultant | Auckland

Derek has a Master of Arts (MA) and came to Superior Personnel having previously worked as a Purchasing Officer and Operations Manager in the logistics sector. Derek recruits for a wide range of positions, specialising in trade roles, warehouse staff, truck drivers, construction and infrastructure. In more than a decade with Superior Personnel he has built an enviable knowledge of the recruitment industry and employment best-practice with many long-standing clients in the FMCG, logistics and infrastructure sectors.

Rachael Skinner | B.Ed & Dip. Tch

Business Development & Senior Recruitment Consultant | Auckland

Rachael's career started as a Recruitment Consultant for an Educational Placement agency where she recruited Temporary relief and contract teachers within the Primary sector. From there, Rachael moved into Generalist Recruitment spaces for both Temporary and Permanent staff for both Industrial and Commercial sectors and has included new and existing Business Development. Rachael has extensive knowledge and experience to build long term client relationships . She has a drive and passion to make sure all vacancies are specifically aligned to new employee requirements.

Rizwa Zulfikar

Recruitment & Candidate Coordinator | Auckland

Rizwa is currently in her last semester studying Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology with Human Resources. She joined Superior Personnel with a strong customer service background and hopes to advance her knowledge in the recruitment field as a start to help pursue her career ambitions. In her spare time Rizwa enjoys finding new places around Auckland for a quick trip along with trying new eateries and reviewing them

Kya Brewer

Recruitment Consultant | Auckland

Kya comes from a customer service/Hospitality background. Realising that the customer service industry was for her, Kya began working for Superior Personnel in Hamilton as the Candidate Co-ordinator in 2015 and then as a Recruitment Consultant, predominantly placing candidates into blue collar temporary and permanent employment. In 2019 Kya transferred to the Auckland branch and continues in her Recruitment Consultant role â in doing this, Kya strives to broaden her client/candidate data base, as well as her recruitment skills and knowledge.

Marie Hook

Office Administrator | Auckland

Marie joined Superior Personnel after returning home from Australia in 2017. Marie comes from a strong background in Operations, IT, Account Management, Collections, Human Resources and staff management. Marie is now responsible for all our office administration in Auckland as well as providing support to the recruitment consultants

Chrystal Saxton

Recruitment Coordinator | Canterbury

Chrystal is responsible for candidate processes at our Canterbury branch, including screening, interviews and reference checks. Chrystal lives in North Canterbury & has a background in recruitment assistance and administration. In her spare time she tends her flock of Texel sheep, spends time with her growing group of nieces & nephews and enjoys a little hunting and fishing.

Grant Hetherington

Recruitment Consultant | Canterbury

Grant has been involved in the retail scene since leaving school and has been in management roles (both instore and regional/area) in both retail and trade related businesses. Having also owned an accommodation business for many years (until destroyed by the Christchurch earthquake) and then a retail franchise business. He has experience in recruitment and staff management gained through past roles. He is also a Volunteer Qualified fire fighter for the local Rangiora brigade.

Jessica McAleer

Administration & Candidate Coordinator | Waikato

Jessica grew up in Recruitment, helping out in recruitment agencies after school and during school holidays. In last several years she has focused on Talent Management, building pipelines of candidates and administration for Recruitment Agencies, including sourcing Recruitment Consultants for Recruitment Agencies. She is looking forward to growing her career in Recruitment with Superior Personnel
