Class 4 Drivers (26/08LC)

Our client based in Te Rapa is a NZ owned food distribution company who have been in business for over 50years. They have a nationwide customer base with over 10,000 products.

They work Monday to Friday, from 5:00am till around 4pm and rostered Saturdays.

The deliveries are mostly Hamilton wide operating tail lift trucks. However, there is the occasional line-haul (Taupo/Rotorua) depending on their customer requirements.

These are broken pallet deliveries which means hand unload and using a trolley, so lots of manual lifting.

Role:
• Driving both late model auto and manual Class 4 chiller vehicles
• Hamilton wide deliveries with tail lift operating
• Manual lifting & trolley deliveries
• Minimal fork hoist operating
• Excellent customer service

Requirement:
• Full clean Class 4 driver’s licence and experience
• OSH Forklift licence
• Familiar with Hamilton region
• Physically fit to do heavy lifting
• Worked with chilled and ambient foods
• Committed and reliable

This assignment is temporary and could become permanent for the right delivery driver.

The successful candidate would need to pass a pre-employment drug test with no criminal record.
