Our employer is a global leader in container logistics and maintenance. We are looking for a skilled Container Repairer/Welder to join their busy South Auckland team.

The Role:

• This is a hands-on position focused on the maintenance and repair of shipping containers to international standards.
• Perform structural repairs including patching, floor replacements, and hardware.
• Welding and steel fabrication to ensure container integrity.
• Identifying damage and ensuring all work meets standards.
• Maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.

What You’ll Need:

• Technical Skill: Solid experience in welding (MIG) and general steel fabrication.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in container repair is highly preferred. We will prioritize candidates coming from similar heavy industrial or shipping backgrounds.
• Work Ethic: Physical fitness and a "get it done" attitude.
• Reliability: You must be able to commit to a full-time schedule and be ready for an immediate start.

The Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (Standard full-time hours).

Overtime: Regular opportunities for weekend overtime for those looking to boost their earnings.
