Storeperson / Forklift Operator - Early Shift & Paper Clamp Experience

We are seeking an autonomous, highly skilled Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our clients' busy freight / logistics operation.

You will lead the floor during our fast-paced early morning cross-docking window, ensuring freight moves safely and efficiently.

**The Role**

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM start (approx. 40–45 hours per week).
• Pay rate: $ Negotiable (Highly competitive based on your specific attachment experience).

Key Responsibilities:
**Specialised Hoist Operation:** Safely operating counterbalance and reach trucks utilizing a paper clamp attachment and other specialized front-end gear.
**Cross-Docking Management:** Efficiently unloading, sorting, and reloading inbound freight directly onto outbound transport to minimise storage time.
**Autonomous Warehousing:** Managing inwards/outwards goods independently during the early hours of the shift.
**Freight Quality Control:** Checking manifest accuracy and ensuring zero damage to sensitive paper/roll stock.


What You Need to Bring

• Licences: Current OSH Forklift Certificate and F Endorsement (pref).
• Attachment Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience using hoists with paper clamp attachments. General clamp or long fork experience is highly regarded.
• Logistics & Cross-Docking Knowledge: Solid understanding of rapid warehouse distribution environments and cross-docking workflows.
• Autonomy: High reliability and the ability to self-manage, make quick decisions, and maintain safety protocols without supervision.
