On-Call Food Manufacturing Staff (3/6NV)

Our client is a leading food manufacturer supplying iconic household brands across New Zealand. We are currently seeking reliable, hardworking, and flexible On-Call Production Staff to join their high-performing team based in Wiri (South Auckland).

This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role that is not for the faint-hearted. Successful candidates must be willing to work across multiple departments and adapt to changing operational needs.

About the Role
You will play an important part in supporting production operations while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and workplace health and safety.

Key Responsibilities
• Handling and processing food products
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Completing production documentation
• Setting up and operating baking equipment and machinery
• Following production, hygiene, and safety procedures
• Working across various departments as required

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Be reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Have good communication and understanding of English
• Be physically fit and capable of repetitive heavy lifting up to 25kg
• Be comfortable lifting items above shoulder and overhead height
• Thrive in a hot working environment
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Be flexible and available to work across all departments and shifts
• Have a strong awareness of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements
• Be willing to learn and grow within the business
Previous food production experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
