Road Maintenance workers - (6:30am - 3pm) NV

Full time, Contract/Temp

Opportunity available with one of the largest Civil contractors in NZ. We are looking for hard working and motivated general labourers to join our client's vegetation crew based in Mt Wellington.

You must have a FULL CLASS 1 LICENSE and know how to drive manual. This is a temp - permanent role assigment offering 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Weed Eating
  • Landscaping
  • Litter collection
  • Maintenance repairs – sign and pothole repairs, post installations
  • Operating machinery – sprayer/mowing machines

Requirements:

  • MUST Hold class 1 (full license)
  • Can Drive Manual
  • Flexibility is a must – required to work some weekends
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug test
  • Must be physically fit.
  • Team player - willingness to muck in and help where required.
  • Have strong & reliable work ethics & able to meet deadlines
  • Have own reliable transport.
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Strong adherence to safety protocols and site guidelines
  • Pass a drug test
  • Satisfactory police check
