Customer Services Team Leader - Key Accounts

Leading from the front , the overriding responsibility is to maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet operational objectives.
Our client is seeking a dynamic person who enjoys a fast-paced transport and logistics environment
We are looking for a natural born leader to support their small dedicated customer service team.


The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Develop/mentor the customer service team
  • Develop and review customer service policies and procedures

• Hands on manage their large key account and review and track customer complaints resolution
• Implement customer service policies to ensure operational efficiency in all facets of the role, bookings, customer service and Despatch

  • Setting rosters ensuring sufficient cover
  • Administration tasks including HR duties and leave requests

* Review and oversee overall customer service activities and maintain sound customer relations.
* Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the department.
* Maintaining a relationship with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and develop policies for improving the customer experience where necessary.
* Review and analyze data and record to identity customer service issues.
* Procurement : Ensure office equipment and supplies are maintained.

To be successful you will ideally have:

  • Proven experience supervising a small admin , or customer services team
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High business acumen
  • You will be a self-starter with a positive & driven attitude
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Outlook



This role would start in the new year and calls for a person who is driven to succeed through team engagement and an understanding of principles that underpin excellence in a customer service environment.
