Experienced Telephone Sales person required

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a talented Telephone Sales person to join their team.  This is a permanent opportunity for the right person.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Monday to Friday  8.30am to 6pm
  • Occasional Saturdays may be required
  • Regular call cycles to Customers in assigned regions
  • Up sell products and promotions
  • Assist with customer queries and process orders 
  • Maintain customer records
  • Administration tasks
  • Provide information to Buying team i.e. low stock levels
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Strong focus on Health and Safety

Ideal Candidate:

  • Telephone Sales experience
  • Knowledge of the food service industry would be advantageous
  • Experience in similar role is preferred
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communications skills 
  • Ability to form relationships with exciting and new clients
  • Team player and willing to help other teams
  • Knowledge of MS Windows applications
  • Excellent computer skills required
  • Planning and time management essential 
  • Health and Safety focused 
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Clear criminal record
