Farm Hands

Are you comfortable around live birds?
Can you work in a smelly/dusty environment?
Are you physically fit to do constant crouching?
Can travel to Papakura?

The Role:

• Catching 3 to 4 chickens per hand
• Continuous crouching and heavy lifting (About 12kg per hand)
• Start time is 3am working between 8 and 12 hours per day
• Packing chicken in drawers ready for collection

The requirement:

• Must be physically fit
• Committed to 3am start
• Own reliable transport

Please note that this is an extremely smelly/dusty environment, so it is not for the faint hearted.

A pre-employment drug test and a clear criminal record is the requirement to be considered for this role.

You will be inducted then trained on site on the correct manner to catch chickens without causing the chickens any stress or harm.

Weight of the chickens vary, so it is heavy lifting along with continuous crouching to catch chickens.
