Forkhoist & Man up Operators - 6am & 2pm starts (27/03DR)

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading food importer wholesaler based in modern premises close to Sylvia Park shopping complex. With over 50 years in business, they have a nationwide customer base including Burger Fuel, Wendys Burgers, St Pierres sushi & more.

THE JOB

Using a counterbalance forkhoist & stockpicker/man up you will be picking a range of food & beverage products. Everything from canned & dry products, fresh produce, cheeses, meats, & seafood.  Manual picking up to 25kgs per lift is part of the job.

Two shifts available;

6am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
2pm - 10:30pm, Sunday to Thursday

OT is available.

The positions will be ongoing with the potential for a permanent position after 3 months.

You would have the following;

• Be able to pass a drug test
• Have reliable transport to get to work
• A good level of physical fitness
• Confident to work at heights

A current counter balance licence is essential, along with experience operating a man up/stockpicker up to at least 5 levels high.

PAY & BENEFITS

$28 per hour + holiday pay before 6pm, & $30 per hour after 6pm. A generous discount off all 10,000 products with breakfast foods supplied every day. Life insurance policy & social club membership apply when the position becomes permanent.
