Our Mt. Wellington based client is looking for an experienced Customer Service and Accounts person to join their team. Our client is NZ owned and specialize in servicing and repairing electric motors and other related equipment.

The role:

• Meeting and greeting customers
• Handling customer queries, face to face and over the phone
• General upkeep of the reception area
• Collect mail once weekly
• Maintain requests for RUC, registration for all company vehicles
• Organize company cleaners and ordering of stationary
• Maintain records of Health & Safety updates, employee H&S registrations
• Take minutes company Health & Safety meetings
• Co-ordinate with management for ISO records


Bookkeeper Responsibilities

• Maintaining records of financial transactions, developing systems to account for financial transactions, reconciling entries, transferring subsidiary account summaries, preparing a trial balance, filing documents, preparing financial reports, filing reports, advising management on needed actions.


Accounts Payable/Receivable Responsibilities

• Paying invoices, verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Liaison with customers; notifying customers of insufficient payments
• Preparing financial reports
• Posting account transactions and verification of accounts
• Resolving account discrepancies
• Maintain a financial historical records by filing accounting documents
• Reconcile bank statements and maintains cashbook
• Maintain inventory pricing and end of month balances
• Prepare stocktaking sheets and data entry for stocktaking twice yearly


Job Costing Responsibilities

• Follow through any PO or pricing requests for each job
• Data entry all time sheets daily
• File all information monthly both written & data entry
