My client is an established NZ meat products market leader.  With a nationwide customer base supplying owner operator businesses through to corporates such as Progressive, this is an ideal company to advance your career. 

THE ROLE

All aspects of Debtors and Creditors - Sales & Purchases, to EOM reconciliations for Accountant to produce P & L and Balance sheet.

  • Producing Debtors invoices daily from sales orders as generated in Triton (SOM) orders, and importing into Xero. Also issuing invoices for any 'cutting contract only' customers.
  • Quantifying EOM stocktake for product and consumables ie. Packaging.
  • Managing all admin aspects of our major customers, i.e Foodstuffs, Progressive Enterprises & Neat Meat.
  • Daily financial planning and daily bank reconciliations on two working accounts and 3 company Visa card accounts. 
  • Generating online payments on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
  • Some P.A duties for General Manager or Directors as required.
  • Liaising with Production Manager and Sales Team. To assist with their matters as required. 
  • Debtors control and debt collection including phoning overdue debtors. Liaise with debt collection agency.
  • Oversee staff purchase account.
  • Run petty cash float.
  • Organise Company Vehicle compliance, i.e WOFs, COFs & RUC purchases. 
  • Creditors control and coding & entering bills as they come to hand.
  • Payroll - Producing a weekly wage run in Xero for factory staff (almost all staff is on an hourly rate).
  • Also Producing a monthly salaried staff run.
  • All lRD compliance- PAYE, GST, RWT.
  • Dealing with any staff issues and H.R matters usually as requested by General Manager or Production Manager. 
  • Assisting other admin staff/sales staff with their roles. 
  • Attending, reporting to and taking of minutes at Staff meetings.
  • Member of Health and Safety Committee. -take minutes and take care of most matters arising in conjuction with Production Manager.
  • Ordering product or supplies for Administration or Production. 
  • All aspects of debtors & creditors and !RD 

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

A proven multi tasker with a background in office or administration management. Strong leadership skills along with a flexible, can do approach.
