Account Manager (01/11EG)

Company:

A large NZ owned company which distributes food & beverages across the country.

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager with sales experience. This position will cover a sales territory in the Waikato. 

Please note: To be considered for this position, applicants must have a university degree. 

Duties include but not limited to the following:

* Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm (some flexibility with hours maybe required at times)

* Retain and increase business with existing customers

* Develop new business within the food industry 

* Customer Service

* Assist team with sales support when required

* Complete all required paperwork i.e. orders, follow up queries, account set-up 

* Meet sales expectations and service timeframes

* Generate reports on customers and any feedback provided 

* Contribute ideas to sales team and managers

* Comply with Health and Safety

Ideal candidate:

* University degree 

* Proven Sales experience is required 

* NZ Full Drivers licence

* Clear Ministry of Justice conviction report

* Food industry sales experience would be advantageous

* Knowledge of the Hamilton area and Waikato region

* Can work to time frames 

* Good communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to work in a team and individually

* Health and Safety focused

* Pass pre-employment drug test
