Trades Customer Service Person - Te Awamutu

The Company:

Our client is a business that prides themselves on providing a great product and quality service to their customers around the Waikato region. 

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a front line Customer Service person with building industry experience to join the team.  Temporary position to start with potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

  • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm (rostered alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm)
  • Flexibility with work hours will be required 
  • Face to face customer service
  • Assist trade customers
  • Product queries and quotes
  • General admin functions and daily banking
  • Inventory and stock take duties
  • Custom product and orders.
  • Phone and email queries
  • Full training provided 
  • Follow Health and Safety guidelines


Ideal candidate:

  • Experience in Customer Service  
  • Building industry experience would be preferred but not essential 
  • Keen and capable to learn new skills and gain product knowledge 
  • Confident dealing with customers and fellow team members
  • Health and Safety focused
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
