Warehouse Operator - Distribution Grade 1 (29/11LC)

Our client based in Waikato is seeking an experienced warehousing person who is computer literate and can operate a counterbalance fork hoist.

This is an ongoing role that could become permanent for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
• Pick and pack equipment orders and process them in appropriate ERP system in timely manner
• Check off all incoming orders and submit for receipting
• Carry out daily cycle count
• Rotate chemicals monthly and record and remove any expired products
• Always maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse
• Adhere to company OHS policies, procedures and rules
• Follow safe work practices
• Report any hazards and participate risk assessments, as requested
• Assist in the identification of control measures to eliminate/minimize risk of injury
• Always operate equipment and machinery with guards and safety controls

Requirements:
• Current OSH hoist licence
• Physically fit
• Flexible with working hours
• Ability to follow instructions
• Health and Safety awareness
• Reliable and punctual
• Pass pre-employment drug test
